Gerard De Boe studied inside oudenaarde to become a mentor. In 1926 he become teacher in oudenaarde, but he moved out a year latter already Belgium to become a medical assistent in Kongo from 1927 plough in the air 1938. From 1940 by he be camera man in use all for the Information and Documentation Centre of Kongo. During 1941 and 1942 he was time of war correspondent in Abessinia, Nigeria and South-Africa. He work from 1943 till 1944 in tine of a filmer for the Information and Documentation Centre of Kongo and as a radio-cooperator of that Centre. In 1945 he return to Belgium and made from that instance on documentay films in Belgium and in Kongo. He became orchestrate of the Production Centre Gerard De Boe in 1949 and was the teacher of young at heart Belgian film talent as Emile Degelin and Jean Cleinge.
